day 1: Rabat – Midelt – Merzouga
We start our 3 days desert tour from Rabat. First day we will pick you from your hotel and head south through the Central Atlas Mountains to Midelt. On the way, we will stop at the Palmery to see the palm trees in the wild. Travel along the Tizi Ntalghumt and the majestic Ziz Valley After lunch. We will continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga.
After enjoying a cup of mint tea then travel by camel to the Berber camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the tallest sand dunes in North Africa . The camel ride takes approximately 1 hour to reach the camp. Where you will spend the night in a Berber tent set up in the desert. After dinner we will gather around a campfire to enjoy the sounds of traditional Berber drums
day 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazat – marrakech
After breakfast, drive across the Dades Valley to Kalatmuguna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dades Valley, the route of over a thousand kasbahs, offers many photo oppurtunities. Visit the Valley of the Roses and the village of Skoura before travelling on to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood city of Africa. Lunch at the popular Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the greatest kasbah in Morocco. we will continue our 3 days desert tour from Rabat through the majestic Tizi nTichka pass to reach the High Atlas Mountains at 2,260 m above sea level. We stop to admire the impressive views and visit the Argan cooperative before we arrive in Marrakech.
day 3: explore Rabat
the last day of the Rabat tour will allow you to experience Rabat and Sale in the best possible way. Our private tours and activities will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Moroccan capital and have a truly beautiful day during the tour you will be able to see the King’s official residence as well as the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Kasbah Oudayan.
