◙ 6 days Tangier to desert
Day 1: Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca
We’ll depart from your accommodation in Tangier and head towards Casablanca. Along the way, we’ll stop in Assilah, where you can explore the old town, or medina, surrounded by well-preserved walls and gates. Next, we’ll visit Rabat, where you can see the famous Hassan Tower, as well as the Kasbah Chellah and Oudayas. Afterward, we’ll continue on to Casablanca, where we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakesh
After breakfast in your hotel we will visit the Hassan II mosque, Built partly on the sea, it is a religious and cultural complex, laid out on nine hectares, we then leave for Marrakech, visit the Jamaa Fna square, have a coffee in instead, dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 3: Marrakech – ait ben haddou – Zagora
After breakfast, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate, driving through the beautiful High Atlas mountains. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of traditional Berber villages. Next, we’ll stop in Telouet to visit the Galoui Kasbah. From there, we’ll continue to the historic site of Ait Ben Haddou, where we’ll explore the famous kasbah and admire its stunning Berber architecture. After that, we’ll visit the cinema studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we’ll cross the valley towards Tabounte, making a photo stop at Ait Saoune. Finally, we’ll follow the Draa Valley to Zagora, where we’ll spend the night in a charming riad.
Day 4: Zagora – Rissani – Merzouga
After breakfast we will take beautiful photos of the palm grove, then we leave for Merzouga, via the Hamada road, we stop to see the nomads in a Berber tent, share a tea with them, and continue to Merzouga via Tazarine and Risani. In Merzouga a camel driver will take you on camel back to the Sahara camp, located between the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend an excellent night under Berber tents with a good Berber dinner.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Fes
after the spectacle of sunrise in the dunes, and the breakfast we will leave towards Fes, we stop in Erfoud to have a coffee and to see the fossils. then we continued towards Fes, via Ziz Vallee and Midelt here you will have lunch and continue thereafter to see the monkeys in the forest, in Azrou, from there we will pass by Ifrane, famous for its alpine style architecture and its ski slopes and nearby forests. Dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 6: Fes – Meknes – Chefchaouen – Tangier
After breakfast, we’ll head out to explore Meknes, Volubilis, and Chefchaouen. First, we’ll visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founder of Meknes. Then, we’ll see the Roman ruins in Volubilis. From there, we’ll continue to Chefchaouen, where you’ll have time to explore the beautiful blue-painted streets and take stunning photos. Afterward, we’ll head to Tangier and drop you off at your accommodation.
