    Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen Arrive in Tangier airport

    Your first day of the 10 Days Best Morocco Travel adventure begins as you meet your driver at the airport in Tangier. From there, you’ll be taken to your hotel to relax and get ready to head to Chefchaouen 

    Day 2: Visit Chefchaouen

    After a tasty breakfast, we’ll head out to explore Chefchaouen, also known as “The Blue City,” nestled in the beautiful Rif Mountains. Founded in 1471, the city’s name comes from the Berber words “Chef Chaouen,” meaning “look at the horns,” referring to the mountain peaks around it. It’s a calm and peaceful place, great for hiking and relaxing. We’ll visit Rass El Ma, a natural spring that provides water for the city’s irrigation and laundry. Here, you can watch local women washing clothes and blankets in the open area.     Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

    After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey through the beautiful Rif and Middle Atlas Mountains, making a stop at the incredible Roman ruins of Volubilis, the most important archaeological site in Morocco. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore the ancient remnants of this once-thriving city. Next, we’ll visit Meknes, where you’ll see the iconic Bab Mansour gate and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, which honors the great sultan who made Meknes his capital. After soaking in the sights, we’ll continue on to Fez, where you’ll spend the night in hotel or riad.

     
     
     
     
     

    Day 4: Explore Fez

    After breakfast, we’ll head to Fes, home to the world’s oldest and largest medieval city. With a local guide, we’ll explore the UNESCO-listed old medina, wandering through its vibrant souks, visiting the historic tanneries, and discovering Al Qarawiyin University, the oldest university in the world. It’s a day filled with rich history and fascinating sights. Once we’ve soaked it all in, we’ll head back to the riad to relax.

    Day 5: Fez - Merzouga

    After breakfast, our driver will take us on an exciting journey to the Sahara Desert, making several scenic stops along the way. We’ll pass through the stunning Middle and High Atlas mountains, the lush Ziz Valley, and a cedar forest home to playful monkeys. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the mesmerizing Merzouga Desert. After a day of breathtaking sights, we’ll check into a hotel in the area for a restful night.

    Day 6: Explore Erg Chebbi

    Today, we’ll head into the desert to visit Khamlia, a village famous for its soulful Gnawa music and dances. Afterward, we’ll travel to the Oasis of Merzouga and visit a local nomadic family for a tasty picnic lunch. Then, we’ll enjoy a thrilling camel ride across the Sahara dunes, watch the stunning sunset, and try sandboarding. The day will end with a special overnight stay in a desert tent, under the stars.

     
     

    Day: 7 Merzouga - Todgha gorges - Boumaln Dades.

    This morning, we’ll begin with a beautiful desert sunrise before riding camels back to the hotel. Then, we’ll head to Dades Gorges, stopping for lunch in Tinjdad along the way. We’ll pass historic forts, explore the lush Palmier Valley, and take in the stunning Todgha Gorges. You’ll also see the impressive 17th-century irrigation wells and enjoy amazing views of the gorges. After soaking in the beauty of Todra Gorges, where the mountains rise up to 1,000 feet, we’ll continue to Boumaln Dades. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel and relax for the night.

    Day 8: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

    After breakfast, we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou, passing through Ouarzazate and Skoura. Our first exciting stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. From there, we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, visit with a local guide, we’ll explore the fortified kasbah and its surrounding village, nestled in the highlands along the Ounila River. This iconic site has starred in famous films like The Mummy, Alexander, and Babel. After a delicious lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll journey through the High Atlas Mountains, passing Tichka Pass, which rises to 2,260 meters. We’ll arrive in Marrakech in the evening and spend the night in this vibrant city.

    Day 9: Explore Marrakech

    After meeting your local guide, you’ll dive into the heart of Marrakech by exploring its lively medina. The tour will take you to the city’s historic sites, like the Bahia and Badi Palaces, the interesting Saadian Tombs, and the lovely Majorelle and Menara Gardens. You’ll also visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a beautiful example of traditional Moroccan architecture.
