Day 1: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
We will travel from your accommodation in Fes to Chefchaouen. We stop in Meknes to visit the medina and the mausoleum of Molay Ismail, then we continue to the Roman ruins in Volubilis, visit the site with a local guide, and continue via the magnificent Rif mountain landscape toward Chefchaouen, dinner and night in a quiet riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast in your riad, you explore the medina, see the charm of its houses, then we continue to Rabat, here you will visit the Hassan tower and the Chellah kasbah, after lunch, we leave for Casablanca. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Casablanca – El Jadida – Safi – Essaouira
In the morning you will visit the Hassan II mosque and discover the Moroccan architecture, then we leave for El jadida, and Safi, here you will discover pottery with different colors. Then we will continue our trip to Essaouira. Dinner and night in a magnificent riad.
Day 4: Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast in your riad, we will visit the Medina, the fishing port, and we will walk on the beach. Then we continue to Marrakech, en road we will visit an argan oil cooperative, from there we continue to Marrakech. Here you will visit the large Jamaa Fna square, and have tea on a terrace (view of the Jamaa Fna square). Dinner and night in a Riad in the medina.
Day 5: Marrakech – Ourzazate – Dades Gorges
We leave in the direction of Ouarzazate, We will pass by the High Atlas mountain, you will have several stops to take beautiful pictures of the mountains with panoramic views, then we will visit the village of Telouat . we will cross the valley of Ounila to reach the village Ait ben hadddou famous by the kasbah or Kssar Ait ben haddou. You enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful kasbah which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
Then our journey will continue to Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. from there we will follow the road of the kasbahs, passing by the palm grove of Skoura, and the Dades valley, we will follow this magnificent valley to the gorges where we will spend the night .
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga
In the morning after breakfast, we will depart for Merzouga desert, pass by Boumalne we stop for picturs and continue to Tinghir to visit the old Jewish quarter. Continuation to the Todra gorges, for lunch, then our trip will continue to the Erg Chebbi dunes, via the Kssar Touroug and Erfoud. in Merzouga your camel guide will take you on camel back to the dunes. to enjoy a magnificent sunset and an excellent night in a nomadic tent.
Day 7: Merzouga desert discovery
After breakfast, your camel guide will take you back to Merzouga, where you’ll meet the 4×4 to begin exploring the desert. You’ll visit the nomads in their tents, then head to Khamlia village to experience Gnaoua music. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Berber pizza for lunch. In the evening, we’ll back to the camp by camel or (for an extra cost) on a quad bike. Enjoy Berber music around the campfire and sleep under the stars.
Day 8: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
After breakfast we will leave the dunes on camel back and go to Rissani to visit the Molay ali Chrif Alaoui mausoleum, from there we go to Erfoud, visit the fossils museum, then we continue to Fes, go through Errachidia and the Ziz valley, Lunch in Zaida, in the afternoon we will go through the forest of Azrou where you discover the monkeys in the wild, take beautiful picturs, then we continue to Ifran. We will drop you off at your accommodation at the end of the day. 8 days Fes Morocco desert tour ends.
